Rental Conditions
General Car Rental Policy Agreement
The Renter and all authorized drivers must be at least 18 years of age.
All drivers must possess a valid national driver's license from their country of residence, held for at least 12 months. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended but not mandatory for licenses written in English or French.
A valid passport or national ID card is required for all drivers for identification purposes.
A valid credit card in the Renter's name is required for the security deposit.
The rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis. A grace period of 60 minutes is granted for late returns. After the grace period, an extra day's rental charge will apply.
The total rental cost, including any extras, is payable in advance at the time of pickup.
A security deposit of MUR 15,000 to MUR 30,000, depending on the car will be held on the Renter's credit card. This deposit will be released upon the safe return of the vehicle.
We accept payments by cash.
The rental price includes a Comprehensive All-Risk Insurance policy.
This insurance comes with a fixed excess/deductible amount of MUR 20,000 to MUR 30,000. In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the Renter's maximum liability is limited to this excess amount, provided the terms of this agreement are not breached.
The insurance does not cover damages caused by reckless or negligent driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving on unpaved or unauthorized roads, or damage to tires and wheels.
The Renter is fully liable for any personal belongings left in the vehicle.
The Renter is responsible for all fines, tolls, and parking tickets incurred during the rental period. An administrative fee of MUR 500 will be charged for processing any fines.
The vehicle is delivered in a clean and roadworthy condition. The Renter must return the vehicle in the same condition, normal wear and tear excepted. A cleaning fee may apply if the car is returned excessively dirty.
A vehicle inspection will be performed at the time of pickup and drop-off. The Renter must sign a vehicle condition report.
The Renter is responsible for checking fluid levels (oil, water) and tire pressure during the rental period.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown, the Renter must immediately contact Marvella Ltd for roadside assistance. Any unauthorized repairs will be at the Renter’s expense.
The vehicle is provided with a fueled and must be returned with a same amount in the tank.
If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, the Renter will be charged for the missing fuel at a premium rate, plus a service fee.
In the event of an accident, theft, or fire, the Renter must immediately notify both Marvella Ltd and the local police.
A police report (Memo de la Police) is mandatory for any insurance claim. Failure to obtain a police report will void the insurance coverage, and the Renter will be liable for the full cost of the damage.
The vehicle must not be driven by any person not listed on the rental agreement.
The vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, off-roading, or towing.

The BT-50 is built for tough conditions. With its 240mm ground clearance and 4x4 capability, it is well-equipped to handle more challenging tracks. However, please note that for insurance purposes, driving on unapproved or extremely rough off-road tracks is not permitted under our rental policy.
